Rail: The Kalka railway station is one of the most important stations in the state. The narrow gauge station connects Shimla to Kalka. The railways are well connected with all the states and cities in and out of Himachal Pradesh.
Road: The state has the perfectly connected by roads to all the big cities in North India. Chandigarh is only about 117 kms, Delhi about 343 kms away from Himachal Pradesh.
